The integrity, confidentiality, and security of your data and reports are guaranteed by LQSi in a password-protected environment, providing access to your facility’s data only by designated persons.

Confidentiality

• All laboratory data and methods submitted to LQSi are considered to be privileged information.
• LQSi guarantees that your identity and proprietary information will not be released to a third party without your prior knowledge and written authorization.

Integrity

• LQSi operates as an independent unit of the SGS Minerals Services global Technical Governance unit, reporting directly to the Vice President, Quality, Standardization, and Efficiency.
• Technical Governance has no external or internal business interests that could compromise LQSi’s impartiality; LQSi’s only business is to improve the quality, capability, and efficiency of all LQSi participants.
• All LQSi employees are bound by a strict code of business ethics that serves to protect client interests at all times.

Professionalism

• LQSi has earned a reputation for professionalism through its technical leadership and commitment to quality.
• Through LQSi’s affiliation with the largest international inspection and testing organization, LQSi has access to professional support in many technical disciplines around the world.

Technical Leadership
Technical Governance and LQSi staff participate in national and international standards-development activities, including ISO Technical Committee 27 on Solid Mineral Fuels and ISO Technical Committee 183 on Non-Ferrous Concentrates and ASTM Committee D05 on Coal and Coke; Committee E01 on Analytical Chemistry of Metals, Ores, Concentrates, and Related Materials; Committee E11 on Quality and Statistics; and Committee E36 on Laboratory and Inspection Agency Accreditation.
